Located on the South West border of Morocco, after Merzouga, you will find a vast deserted land with golden dunes, canyons and oasis. Camp Sahariens D'Atta, with its Full Board Pension Service, and who's goal is to try and make its guests blend in with the locals and enjoy their stay to the maximum. This trip will allow you to spend 4 days in the heart of the Saharian desert exploring it by foot and by 4x4. The intineray will be planned by you but with careful attention to the guides suggestions and will consist of various activities, discoveries, rest and meditation.

You will live in traditional goat skin tents but will also find on site, modern comodities. The tents have all been handsewn and renenforced by the local village men, using waterproof materials to protect you from all types of weather conditions.
For your stay at Camp Saharien D'Atta, this is a small itinerary of what the organizers suggest:
Day 1: Ouarzazate-Remlia: Early morning departure in 4x4 towards the high Draa Valley with its oasis and earth kasbahs. Then we reach Knob after about a three hour car drive. Here you will see isolated villages and rocky plateaux.
Once you pass Maharch, you will have arrived in Oued Rheri, invaded by sand and a quite difficult crossing.
After this seven hour journey, you will have reached your destination of Camp Saharien D'Atta. Enjoy a complete dinner meal and stay in your comfortable tent.
DAY 2&3: STAY AT THE CAMP SAHARIEN D'ATTA AND ENJOY THE LOCAL ACTIVITIES: You will have 4x4 at your disposal for your whole stay at the camp that way you can move around freely is you so wish. The first day will be spent discovering the camp and its various dunes. This day is also dedicated to learning how to enter into the culture and surroundings of the desert and discovering camp site living and its rules.
On your second day at the camp site you will have the chance to participate in various excursions, all depending on what you wish to see:
-Walking excursions towards the "Tassils" and dunes which predominate the region
-Visit the village of Remlia with its small market souks
-4x4 excursions and walk toward Djebel Zireg where the dunes continue towards the mountains or rather the stretch between Maharch and Tamgaout oasis
-Spend your day on the camp site to take advantage of doing some work on the desert, and then enjoy a quick shower, being careful to use very little water. During the day you could also help the locals with their daily tasks of locating water with wooden sticks and many other daily jobs.
DAY 4: REMLIA-OUARZAZATE: Leave in the morning to head back to Ouarzazate for a 6 hour drive. Your arrival will be in late afternoon.
