This house was founded in 1953 by the parents of the actual owners of Jnane Sherazade which is located in the East of Habbous, a traditionally famous area known for its econmomical Capital and the Royal Palaces.
The Riad is protected by a 5 meter high wall which provides privacy for all of its guests. The entrance doors are huge and of a copper yellow color, finely carved with elegant designs. The guards who stand outside the doors are finely dressed in red and gold uniforms to lend honner to all of the guards who protect the city.
In the Habbous region you will find the local Bazars which offer you objects and products made by local Maroccan Artisans such as olives and olive oils. Also to be tried is the local honey with its fine taste and textures.
Copper and silver plate merchants are constantly offering their products to tourists so barganing is a must.
North of Habbous, towards the train station, you will find the famous souks highly known for their vast variety of meats and in particular, cammel meat.
Once you leave the hectic and colorful areas of the Souks and its markets, you will enjoy the peace and serenity that the Medeival Riad has to offer you.
